As everybody’s schedule is in flux right now, we have room for some new voices from the community. There are a lot of fun and creative things to cover in the world of alt and we are seeking more alt.porn reviewers and reporters. We are looking for dedicated individuals genuinely interested in what AltPorn is all about and what the latest news is. It doesn’t pay a lot, but it can be a fun project, writing reviews of AltPorn photo and video updates and cam shows from cool sites. Once a writer is established with us, there are also opportunities to do interviews for AltStar magazine, review toys, go to events, and more. Established writers also become part of the panel of judges who determine the finalist nominees and the winners of the AltPorn Awards each year. If you are interested and feel you can write entertaining opinions and evaluations of the sorts that we tend to post here, please read the qualifications needed below, get in touch, and we’ll see if we can get you involved.

You would be writing entertaining, witty, even a bit humorous, article blog posts, in a conversational natural voice, about assigned alternative AltP0rn photo set updates, galleries, video clips and/or livestreams, with your own personality and charm. This involves formatting the post in WordPress and selecting (or screenshotting) and uploading a couple sample images for each post. You should know what alternative erotica is and have an interest in writing about positive artistic presentations for a knowledgeable audience familiar with the subject matter.

Personal authentic journalistic voice and writing skills required. Site, toy, or video/DVD blogging experience preferred. Sense of humor a plus.

Application Instructions: To apply, please use the AltPorn.Net contact form and tick the box for Writing Inquiry, put Writer App as the subject, and answer the following interview questions on why you are qualified to do this and potentially send samples or links to previous work of this sort. :

(1) Why do you think you are a good fit for this particular project?

(3) Do you have experience doing screenshots or cropping images in Photoshop? (a plus, but not required, as we can train)

AltPorn.net (APN) is very happy to announce that, honoring excellence in alternative porn, we are now taking nominations for our Best of 2015 APN Awards!

It’s hard to believe that AltPorn.net has been covering all things AltPorn for a dozen years now and we always enjoy the time of year when we can expand on the recognition and appreciation that all of our creative alternative erotica friends and crushes deserve. There was one year where we tried to conform to the regular award season, but traditionally we’ve done these awards later in the year and we sort of prefer this. As we do every year, we’re taking nominations for all the categories from the fans, models, and producers.

So, if you know of any work produced in 2015 that really deserves attention for being outstanding, just hit up our contact form and select ‘Suggestion,’ write ‘2015 APN Award Nomination’ for subject, and let us know the category or categories and your suggested nomination(s). If you only want to nominate in one category, that is fine. If you want to share your opinion on all of them, that works too. Our panel of judges will gather the qualified suggestions in each category. You can just put a name in and press send, but it is helpful if you let us know why you suggested your noms and what category they really deserve consideration in. You are welcome to ask your friends and fans and collaborators to nominate you, but it is a plus if they mention why you are awesome. Since we shouldn’t just sit back and make fun of other porn awards, AltPorn.net (APN) is happy to announce that we’re now taking nominations for our Best of 2013 APN Awards! Traditionally, we’ve done these awards later in the year, but we’ve decided to conform with the regular award season, just like everybody else. It’s hard to believe that AltPorn.net has been covering all things AltPorn for ten years now and we always enjoy the time of year when we can expand on the recognition and appreciation that all of our creative alternative erotica friends and crushes deserve. As we do every year, we’re taking nominations for all the categories from the fans, models, and producers, so if you know of any work produced in 2013 that really deserves attention for being outstanding, just hit up our contact form and select ‘2013 APN Award Nomination‘ list the category for categories and your suggested nomination(s). AltPorn.net is happy to announce that it’s time to get things rolling on our much anticipated annual AltPorn Awards! AltPorn.net has been covering all things AltPorn for eight years now and with your help, we like to give recognition to the best the genre has to offer. We have compiled a list of categories for nomination and we would love to get feedback and nominations from the fans, models, and producers for the creative work you really feel was the very best in 2011. Deadline for nominations is Saturday May 19th this year, at which point we will announce the final nominations in each category. Remember, the nominations have to be for work that was released between January 1st and December 31st, 2011. We would also like to have your nominations for an AltPorn hall of fame for artists, models, performers, and producers. Please give some thought to your suggestions.
