Hankey’s Toys released the official UnicornHorn48 lifecast today, created in direct collaboration with the performer. The collaboration has a nice backstory too. Sexy UnicornHorn48 has been building a genuine following across platforms, the kind where a lifecast feels like a natural extension of the community connection rather than just a merch play. As a content creator and adult performer with an audience north of 330,000 since 2018, UnicornHorn48 came to Hankey’s Toys as a customer before the project took shape. “With UnicornHorn48, we wanted to create more than a conventional performer collaboration,” said Michael Mickey, the company’s president. “His fans can now experience an official lifecast made with the realism, size options, and craftsmanship our customers expect from Hankey’s Toys.”
The continuous taper on the UnicornHorn48 runs from narrowest at the head to widest at the base with no abrupt flare. That contour exists because the mold came directly from the performer: no sculpting, no artistic approximation, no studio interpretation from reference images. The original mold captured the vein structure, the ridges, and the continuous taper as they are. Most performer collaborations in this category stop at “inspired by” or “sculpted in his likeness.” This one didn’t, and Hankey‘s is clear about the difference. It’s what fans really want, as realistic as possible, well, aside from UnicornHorn48 being available in an impressive array of sizes.
Mr. Hankey’s Toys has been hand-pouring high quality artisanally manufactured pieces to order in 100% platinum-cured silicone (nonporous, phthalate-free, domestically sourced) long enough to establish a consistent AltStar presence. For my money, what separates a lifecast worth the premium from the novelty side of this category is the process: the vein structure and the attractive familiar taper are in the piece because the mold started in the right place, as a true reflection of the performer and made with the best care and materials.
