Bad Dragon just dropped Wrangler the Australian Cattle Dad a couple of weeks ago and I have to say, I always love their character design. On the physical/toy side, Wrangler brings us a thick, robustly girthy smooth shaft with light veining that transitions into a bold knot (bulbus glandis if you want to get technical), finished with an intricately detailed fur-textured base (which is kind of oddly camouflage-ish, particularly on the UV-reactive Signature coloration.) The fur-texture base sculpting work is the subtle detail worth sitting with, as an Australian Cattle Dog’s coat has a specific density and visual character. When that specificity shows up in the base design, it gives the whole sculpt a grounded identity that generic creature-fur doesn’t. This brings us to the character design and the top notch storytelling that we can always count on from Bad Dragon.
The setup: he’s newly single, apps already lighting up, older-guy charm still fully operational. Bad Dragon leaned into the outback-Australia energy, the newly-unattached dad-bod swagger, the kitchen-in-the-morning scene, and it lands with confidence. The character lore is playful without being ironic about it. That’s harder to pull off than it looks.
Available now in Soft, Medium, and Firm across five sizes (Mini through Extra Large), I got my hands on a Signature colored medium sized in medium firmness, which measures out to 7.8 inch shaft circumference, swelling to 9.3 inches around the knot and measuring up to a stout 6.25 inches in length. Perfect for fans of a good stretch without pushing too deep. This is a good comfortable size for me and I LOVE the thickness just below the knot. A lot of toys taper way too thin in that area, which I find destabilizes the toy in use and doesn’t give me that resting stretch I really enjoy. The pronounced crown of Wrangler‘s head is really hot as well and rubs just the right areas inside.
Wrangler is a perfect companion for anal training and/or preparing yourself for a sizable partner later and it’s great for a seated position while you play online, but may lack the length for ideal strap-on usage (your results may vary.) But, one thing is for sure, the Cattle Dad makes a nice gape. I think it would also be visually great for cam shows and clips, as the base doesn’t cover up all the action and it doesn’t require too much movement in and out.
If you want your toy to arrive with a complete backstory involving bacon, biscuits, and a morning-after smirk: Daddy’s home. Glad to see Bad Dragon still putting genuine narrative craft into the character builds.
