Today Nena Blue announced that they have “68 Exclusive High Quality Photos” of Apnea. The set is called Waffles and is shot by Lithium Picnic. Even if you do not recall that this exact same set posted to Apnea’s blog November 17, 2007 and to the Apneatic members area November 20, 2007, (We covered the update in December of 2007) if you are at all a fan of alt, you are probably aware of how unlikely a new set like this would be. It is still a good excuse to post pictures of two tasty things: waffles and Apnea.

Apnea just announced a hot upcoming gallery show featuring her boyfriend Chase Lisbon of Supercult. It looks like there is going to be plenty of really sexy photography of very sexy girls there, including a lot of very hot shots of Apnea herself. I really love how she brings out the best in the photographers she dates, it speaks well of her beauty and style and the talent she herself brings as a model. Chase is no slouch either, so together they have made some images I really really enjoy. If you are anywhere near Philadelphia on May 2nd, be sure to check it out. Take some pictures of the crowd and send them to us, I don’t think I’m going to make it up there, but I’d love to see some coverage.

It’s like Apnea blew out her 23 candles and MY wish came true! I wouldn’t say I’m a pantie fetishist, but wow, these are hot. Sexy little Apnea showing off her tasty little baby blue panties, with hints of her amazing ink too. She’s sweeter than a dixie cup full of jelly beans. We wish the life changes she’s been anticipating are all good. Follow Apnea’s adventures, she’s such an interesting and unbearably hot girl. Plus she’s got one of the realest solo girl sites we’ve seen.

Apnea feels that she will be too busy for new things this Valentine’s so she’s dug through her archives and come up with some sexy shots she did with Lithium Picnic last year. So, here she is, Valentine’s 08. Full series now available on her site. Not every detail of this is working for me, but those shoes are just red hot. I bet they would burn your mouth hotter than cinnamon gummy bears.

Apnea just posted this beautiful video, or portion of a video anyway, over on her blog, along with a really humorous and entertaining little story about preparing for and shooting it with Chase Lisbon. I love the mood and look of it and for a ‘censored’ video, it sure is hotter than a lot of the ‘uncensored’ stuff we see.

Beautiful photographic muse Apnea has demonstrated her charming power to move the masses again with her recently posted Zivity collaboration with SuperCult’s Chase Lisbon. Their photographic contribution has not only broken the site’s all time record for most set votes within a 24 hour period, it has also now received more votes than any other set ever posted to the site. I have some reservations about very heavily funded UGC membership sites that not only pay for their content contributions based on ‘votes’ (traffic) you as a contributor manage to get yourself by doing their promotion work for them, but also also manage to deliver that payout significantly after they get to use your contribution. People seem excited about the system, but I know a few alt models that have made more money than this set will probably eventually pay out, simply by signing up for the affiliate programs of the alt sites their sets go up on and doing the same sort of self promotion, and they get paid faster too. Anyway, it is good to see Apnea really making a power statement and these really are some very sexy stylish photos deserving of accolade.

Cute little Apnea started out the month of October freaking out jumping for joy about Halloween. Maybe she was not so much jumping for joy, as she was curving her tattooed torso around a statuette of Mistress of the Dark Elvira. I like how her makeup sort of matches Elvira’s in this set.

Apnea always has a bit of a cute witch look in all my favorite photo sets of her, but apparently she was actually a witch for Halloween this year. She is just too adorable in a dark spooky cloak and witch hat. Apnea frequently wears makeup that makes me want to make a beeline for the nearest MAC store and the eyeshadow with her witch costume does just that.

I caught this hilarious post by Lux Nightmare on Fleshbot the other morning and thought it was just too funny not to share.

The underlying story of how Philip Warner, AKA Lithium Picnic is back to cheerfully promoting and defending SuicideGirls however is really disappointing. When he found himself at odds with his exclusionary employer SuicideGirls, he cried far and wide, pleading for everyone in the scene to take up his cause with his ‘Free Lithium Picnic’ merch machine and calls for benefit art shows and donation drives, etc. There wasn’t a place on the internet that someone could mention that they kind of think maybe altporn bully SuicideGirls is a ‘blight on our scene’ or whatever without at least a handful of LP supporters and questionable sock puppets interjecting ‘Free Lithium Picnic’ at every turn. Yet somehow the rhetoric seemed mismatched with what few facts had emerged about the $100,000 breach of contract case SuicideGirls had brought against Philip. Although we have been supportive of getting the facts out there as best we can in the past, we’ve never really bought in to the ensuing hype, despite the well intentioned efforts of sites like DeviantNation, who went so far as to pass along a neat little ‘Free Lithium Picnic’ chipin donation flash widgets that they wanted sites like APN to to run so that Philip could generate more funds.

One of the main reasons we do not cover SuicideGirls more often here at APN is that we’ve seen SuicideGirls notoriously controlling contracts and frankly, they don’t look that difficult to find yourself in breach of. I could see participating in legal fee fund raisers and other charity events once the court found Philip Warner not guilty, but if he was guilty of breach, then giving him money would just be a waste. APN attempted to interview Lithium Picnic about what the fight with SG was actually over, but we were informed that we would only be able to interview Apnea instead, as he was not supposed to discuss legal issues pertaining to the case. Not that we ever mind talking to hot and adorable Apnea and she was very helpful and informative in every interaction. However if, like APN, you have been wondering about the actual details of this legal battle, Lux Nightmare’s Fleshbot post links to where Amelia G over at BlueBlood.net wrote SuicideGirls vs Lithium Picnic Lawsuit Settled, which is an excellent deconstruction of the lawsuit and the community’s response to it. The feeling over there seems to be that Apnea is innocent, but LP is at the very least guilty of selling out the principles he asked so many to sacrifice for and support. Not that we mind if ultra sexy and cute Apnea turns out to be the only good guy in the whole legal mess.

I guess what I’m saying is that I’ve never been 100% convinced Lithium Picnic was actually innocent. He worked for SuicideGirls for a long time. He was there when they we’re pulling all sorts of shady business with their models. One falling out among a clan of bad people doesn’t suddenly transform someone into being the good guy. It would be nice if he were innocent, but there was a strong chance he actually wasn’t. We were looking forward to the court’s decision to make everything clear.
