Pearl hits the screen with jazz hands and homicidal intent, and she matches the energy with snack-fueled side-eyes and commentary delivered like a true scream queen-in-training. Every pirouette of madness gets a slow clap. Riding the emotional tractor straight into A24 Hell, farm aesthetic and all is one of my favorite things about this movie and I’m ready for the star to get her girlboss, gaslight, gatekeep moment straight into that little crocodile pit.
