Marking its 21st year, the Bondage Ball returned to the Globe Theater in Downtown Los Angeles on July 3 to welcome its customary scores of beautiful sexy people dressed to thrill in leather, latex, lingerie, and little else. Performing live BDSM shows and scenes were such prominent figures of the LA kink scene as Dominatrix Snow Mercy, Master Eragon, Lady Sexwax, Sybella Dusk, Mistress Nikki Rouge, Sir Rucifer, Pirate Gentleman, Chromegirl, Dorian Strange, Carmen Angeles, and many others. Emceeing was indie film actor, writer, orator, and AltStar Awards MC Jeffrey Damnit. Spotted in the VIP area being beautiful was adult film sensation Laura Desiree. Many attendees enjoyed being tied up, suspended, paddled, and delightfully tortured in play areas sponsored by local dungeons Mercy Studios LA, Legacy Studios LA, and others. Doms and Dommes led their submissive partners through the dance floor on collar and leash, dancing to mixes spun by such acclaimed DJ’s as Pyrce, DJ Slave1, Xris Smack! and more. Headlining was the amazing music performance of Medu$a. Personally I have been attending Bondage Ball every year since 2015. I love its unrestrained yet unpretentious spectacles of beautiful sexy perversions. This was my first year having the privilege of being on duty, seeing the event through my lens – a privilege that I will continue to seek.
