Jenevieve Zaya has worked with many of the best names in alt and is a 2x Best Modern Burlesque winner in our annual awards. Because covid kept all the amazing burlesque performers away from being on stage in 2020, we skipped the category for this year, but we still wanted to have that modern burlesque flavor be a part of the show and we are so glad that Jenevieve is sharing a flashback performance with our attendees. We are all looking forward to her witchy, sparkly, mystical contortions.
She is described as, “a gypsy witch creatrix who dedicates all her artistic magick to the Goddess. She loves to inspire the world through sacred movement in the form of bewitching belly dance, flexibility art, yoga and Mysticism. She channels the power of the serpent through divine trance dance and spellbinding wild expression” and I have to say that, yes, she certainly does. She is going to be taking her priestess arts training to Arizona to open a studio soon for those who wish to learn her style of bewitching bendy dakini, dance art, Tantric yogini teachings.
