Greetings

So, why?

Well, I like girls. They’re beautiful. I especially like interesting-looking girls; ones with glasses, or tattoos, or short hair, or groovy clothes, or any combinations thereof. I’m sure I could psychoanalyze the reasons for this, but that’s a lot less fun than looking at them.

Lately, the “aesthetic” that I tend to find appealing has moved a little more mainstream. There are more sites that cater to these tastes. And despite tendencies to reject anything enjoying mainstream popularity that are deep-rooted in my adolescence, this seems like A Good Thing to me.

Probably the coolest aspect of this is the DIY-vibe of many of these sites. They aren’t necessarily run by guys like the Colonel from Boogie Nights — many of them are run by men and women who want to express something less degrading and cynical than what the mainstream adult industry is producing.

So my interest here is to highlight some of the cool stuff coming out of this movement. While it will definitely be influenced by my personal tastes (I’m not much of one for, say, S&M), I intend to try and be fairly even-handed about things, and promote a cooperative, community vibe.

With that said, I’d like to encourage site owners, models, etc to please contact me with updates, requests, or other things they’d like to publicize. It’s my hope that we can develop a useful, centralized source for fans of the altporn scene.
