A Dance of Fire and Ice With Feysbian

A Dance of Fire and Ice is basically a one-button rhythm game wearing the skin of a cute little planet toy, then immediately revealing it has the soul of a metronome demon. Feysbian is trying to keep two orbiting planets in perfect equilibrium while the track twists into zigzags, midspins, tempo traps and I have no idea what’s going on beyond bopping to it all.

The funniest part is how calm it looks from the outside. Just click on beat. Simple. Tiny planets. Pretty music. Then the path becomes a cursed geometry exam and suddenly she’s fighting for her life against a snail tile, a rabbit tile, and whatever rhythm war crime 1½ beat interval is supposed to be.
