This video features Forrest Black’s interview with the beautiful muse April Flores and my interview with art show curator and contributing artist Carlos Batts and contributing artist Misha (who enjoyed one of the tickets won by MorningStar in our Sisters of Mercy giveaway). Forrest Black and April Flores discuss what it is like to be immortalized in a very unique way and Carlos Batts and Misha and I discuss their inspirations for their respective pieces and Carlos Batts’ vision for the show. The gallery was kind enough to let us shoot while they were closing up, after the huge crowd had dispersed, so it would be quiet enough to hear the interviews, although I think you can see them flicking the lights on and off once or twice to remind folks to exit the building and head out to Good Luck Bar. The video is directed by Forrest Black. Blue Blood theme music is by Tim Skold. So we posted the whole sexy series of Superna serving a couple pounds of weed in the BlueBlood VIP some time ago and, in honor of 4/20, we posted a free 420 photo gallery here. What we have not been able to share with you all, because her and Individual’s case was still pending, is that her home was raided shortly after this. Superna is someone who just lights up a room. In my experience, Superna makes everyone around her smile, so I am shocked and appalled that someone would do this to her. She always radiates a certain beautiful infectious joy and it broke my heart that she had to go through this. I guess I should probably also have been freaked out that Forrest Black and I shot this photo set at her home, actually during the time period her house was under surveillance, but at least the photos had nothing to do with her arrest.

Superna: Oh my god.. .it was like a movie! 20 swat officers with machine guns at 7am.. my 2 roommates were there, but Individual and I were in Louisiana . . . They kicked in the door while Willie was watching FOX News getting ready for work.. they also kicked in the two fences to the back yard. They expected a HUGE bust, which did not happen, so they looked like idiots! When we got back to Cali . . .. they arrested me and Individual there to save face for all the cash they spent on their “huge drug stakeout”. My roommates took a deal with the DA and have to do drug classes and probation for 16 months, Individual and I are still battling it in court because we are actually innocent (even though that term doesn’t really mean anything once you’ve been arrested. It’s like guilty till proven guilty). Because it was our name on everything we are the ‘alleged’ big drug lords of the universe with 18 plants. Funny thing though, they got less than an ounce total off of all those plants Our house was supposedly under surveillance when our car was stolen too. Cops didn’t help with that one… we lost our house while we were in jail and . . . Individual told them he was innocent and won’t do any . . . drug classes because he did nothing wrong… so they told him he couldn’t stay in the house over night. He is now sleeping in a tent in the back yard !! (heeeee) .. so …. carless… homeless… broke …. and I still can’t be stopped !! Someone has it out for me bad though. The police report is all based on testimony from a “confidential informant” who called the cops . . . HATERS!!! The best revenge will be my triumphant success!! . . . I love you.. and I can’t wait to see those shots of me and Individual’s jizz fest at our former house . . . I’ve been out of touch while in the slammer

[Fast forward many moons . . .]

Amelia G: What finally happened with your case?

Superna: After the State of California spent thousands dollars trying to make a “case” against us, the case was DISMISSED

Amelia G: After smashing your totally cool living situation, did the State of California determine that actually you should have a pot prescription?

Superna: Yes we both have physicians recommendations for the use of medical cannabis, and the federally approved synthetic TCH “Marinol” (which is available in every state and at every Wal-Mart pharmacy in the country by the way). As a matter of fact, when we were drug tested every week during our probationary period, we were allowed to have THC in our system because the state of California recognizes the use of medically prescribed cannabis (prop 215), and the state and county judicial system is required to adhere the laws of the state. If this were a federal matter, it would have been handled differently.

Amelia G: You have such a sunny and warm personality all the time around other people. You always make everyone smile. Do you feel smoking at one point in time can make you more positive at another or is your sunny disposition mostly philosophical?

Superna: I think it is definitely a philosophical point of view, also a CHOICE to be happy at all times. I think for its medical use, it can help someone with easing anxiety, stress, boosting creativity, relieving physical pain… Let me put it like this : If you are a naturally easy-going person it can help you to be a “really” easier-going person. Likewise, if you are an extremely paranoid person, it will also enhance your paranoia. Sort of a mood enhancer, but also with dozens of other medical applications.

Amelia G: What do you personally find good and/or bad about smoking?

Superna: Personally, I don’t find smoking to be good, I find it to be great. Seriously, it helps so much with stress and anxiety, appetite problems, stomach disorders, high-blood pressure, tension, insomnia.. on the other hand, it is also a creativity enhancer – making creative endeavors flow with much more ease from the source. Every medical study that I have reviewed on the subject shows it to be non-addictive with no lasting or permanent unwanted effects. A natural remedy, as opposed to the chemical cocktails in the pills that are created artificially in a pharmaceutical laboratory with life-threatening side effects. As far as the “bad” aspects, its definitely hard being coined a “criminal” for choosing a homeopathic route as opposed to the so-called “legal” drugs peddled out of your local pharmacy and hospital. It boils down to it not being as popular yet with the general public…and they aren’t making any tax dollars off of the home grown remedies, so they push what will make them (and the lobbyists) the most money.

Amelia G: Do you think the rest of the country will eventually legalize all smokables or at least medical use?

Superna: I hope so. I think as everyone progresses in their thinking (away from the antiquated religious dogma),medical use will become more accepted, as will other choices of a personal nature. Things are changing so fast right before our eyes, and I have a very positive outlook for the future. Happy 4:20 Thank you, and remember to love one another!!

Blue Blood head honcho Amelia G explained that she and Keiko and Forrest Black were hanging out at a Thai restaurant and just had to make use of the graffiti decorated bathroom for an impromptu photo shoot. They describe the set as having a classic punk rock CBGB’s feel and I’d have to agree. I also have a weak spot for very very bad schoolgirls and BarelyEvil has the most evil schoolgirls around. It doesn’t say whether the Catholic schoolgirl uniform Keiko is wearing is the same one she actually wore in school, but her BarelyEvil interview is ridiculously hot if you like naughty schoolgirls.

Aiden Starr and Michelle Aston heat up the Hollywood night and you can just see how into each other they are in this fetish series lensed by yours truly and Forrest Black. They are both so alive and well-spoken, it is a pleasure to shoot them.

Blue Blood editor/writer Amelia G wrote a series of holiday articles this December. She covers the trials of “Alaska vs. Snowzilla” and ventures out to meet “Hunky Santa and the Candy Cane Girls“. In “Glitter and Funny Hats Are Better Than Suicide“, she debunks the notion that people off themselves at Xmas and helpfully points out that studies show New Years is the big kill-yourself holiday. (Something gothic to look forward to!)

We’d already shot a bunch of stuff with her bound with the string of lights when we got the, uhm, bright idea that we should try some shots with the lights turned on. Fortunately, Forrest was super fast at unplugging the blue lights when they shocked us all by beginning to spontaneously explode. I sort of wished I hadn’t shot barefoot that day, but it was so funny that I didn’t even mind pulling shards of blue glass out of my feet and Roxy didn’t mind the spontaneous combustion on her leg. We suffered for our art :-p” Roxy Contin has made nine appearances in the Blue Blood VIP members area so far. Halloween Celebration Tips Interview with Dana Dark

Dana Dark is one of Blue Blood’s online OGs. It was after staying at her beautifully-appointed home in Houston for a week that Blue Blood launched its first membership site. Dana creates beauty and warmth in every little nook and cranny of her home. Like, if there is some tiny square of wall in the bathroom, she will think of the perfect antique frame or something like that to dress it up. There are now twenty-seven photo sets featuring Dana Dark in the Blue Blood VIP area.

I’ve spent more than one holiday with Dana and there is seriously nobody who does up holiday cheer better than she does. She really gets into the festive spirit, she is fabulous at decorating, she cooks, and she is starting her own clothing line. When my guy friends look at photos of Dana, she is always the girl they fantasize about marrying…

It was one of those beautiful wet Portland days when Voltaire, Forrest Black, and I drove all around town looking for a good spot to shoot. Voltaire guided us to this railroad crossing underpass, but it turned out to be under construction. Never ones to be daunted by such a minor inconvenience as heavy machinery and tons of people around, Voltaire and I made a beeline for the bulldozers while Forrest stayed in the rental car as lookout. Voltaire had just handed me her underwear and lifted her neon green skirt, when a construction worker waved me over. I was bummed because we were not going to have good light to shoot by the time we found a new location. But I came when he beckoned because I’m a nice girl like that. I think he was the construction foreman and he told me it was cool if we wanted to shoot pictures to our hearts’ content, but please do not actually climb up in the seats on the trucks because the city’s insurance won’t cover that. The guys working construction didn’t even roll up on us to ogle. The foreman and everyone was so nice that I actually asked Voltaire not to get in the seats. I think that, even with our good behavior, she looks most excellent in the big gravel shovel and in the danger zone and I’m really pleased with how these shots came out. I hope you all enjoy them too. It was quite an adventure and, yes, I did just give me and Voltaire good girl points for shooting erotic nudes in public but only near the seats of trucks and not actually in them. I have had a lot of fun in Portland before and I’ve shot a bunch in Portland before. So I was down for a trip, a few weeks ago, when long-time Blue Blood hottie Rachel Face called me up and said that she’d been designing disposable clothing made out of trash and she was having a fashion show she’d love me and Forrest Black to come up and do some press coverage on. She had messaged me online about shooting some new sets for BlueBlood.com and I often enjoy shooting trips more if there is an event to shoot. Rachel invited me and Forrest Black to stay at her place, but we figured she would be crazed getting ready for her fashion show, so we stayed at EroticBPM HQ instead.

It’s not that Rachel didn’t tell me excitedly about how there would be all these strippers there. Hot girls who dance in Los Angeles usually prefer to be called dancers, but Portland cuties throw the word strippers around all the time. Yet I hadn’t quite grasped the nature of the venue. The Trash Factory fashion show was at a club called Devil’s Point. Portland peeps are probably starting to smirk now, as it occurs to them what I did not know. Never having been to Devil’s Point, I had assumed the Trash Factory fashion show venue would be a nightclub with maybe some go-go dancers or maybe a place full nude dancers went to get a beer . . . when not actually, ya know, nude.

Humorously, I had not realized it was an actual strip club. Doh! Nonetheless, the Devil’s Point people were helpful and nice and the photography did turn out awesome, if I do say so myself. Check the photos out here and check the club out when in Portland.
