When did you launch your GeekGirlsOnline site and what made you decide to do it?
Well, it officially launched the first week of October 2007, although it had been in the works since late June/Early July.
As far as what made us decide to do it, it had been an ongoing conversation for the past 4 or so years with my finance. We were always wondering why there were only a handful of geeky-girl porn sites. Being a geek myself, and not having the time to really be in front of the camera lately, I felt it was a great idea to start a site that featured real girls, that had interests similar to mine, since all but a handful of previous similar ideas had failed.
Your GeekGirlsOnline site seems very gamer oriented. Has the gaming community been receptive to what you are doing so far? Have you met any resistance?
The gaming community as a whole has been very supportive. There have been a few minor incidences of single groups not particularly caring for our site, as they see the gamer community as a “family friendly” society.
I look at it this way: Our site community is growing everyday, and our gamer conversations never seem to end. GeekGirlsOnline really was made as an outlet for geeks alike, and it’s not like we are going to all ages conventions and passing out fliers, or shoving it into people’s faces. But, on the other hand, we aren’t going to hide underground somewhere because a handful of people don’t like us. A lot of people in high school didn’t like me, but it didn’t stop me from being myself.
What do you see as the strong points of your GeekGirlsOnline site?
First and foremost, our community. Eclectic and intelligent, and always interactive. And, of course, our models. They are all geeky in their own ways, and love to show that off.
Which models that are not featured on your site yet would you most like to work with in the future?
That’s a toughie. I would love to have Morgan Webb, but the chances of that are slim to none. (hah). But I really would like Scar13, as I feel she is an extremely beautiful and intelligent woman.
You have personally appeared on a lot of sites. What sites have you been on and what have you learned from your experiences?
I started out on the original NaughtyGoth.com , and Eroticbpm.com. After that, I did spiceplay and Citykittie. Unfortunately, 3 of those sites aren’t around anymore. I have tried to take that into account with GeekGirls, and to not make the same mistakes that others had made before me.
It also makes it a lot easier to relate to models, as I have been around the business for about 4 or so years, and have had a few good tutors there to guide me, and show me the right and wrongs on the adult business.
What is your opinion of altporn sites that claim to be run by women but actually are not?
It’s actually the reason I didn’t go work for “that evil altporn empire” that shall not be named. I feel that it’s insulting to a model’s intelligence to claim to be run one way, and in the contract you sign away your life for 2 years to some guy whom you have never heard of.
What are some of your current favorite sites, particularly in the altporn genre?
Of course, Eroticbpm would be in that list, as they were my inspiration for getting into altporn. I would also have to mention BlueBlood.com, as they have given me something to aspire to be. And always have been a fan of JoyofSpex, even though they have kind of dropped off the face of the planet.
Nearly every alt-model we’ve seen lately claims to be highly intelligent, including many that seem to have their own opinions about how to spell the word. Who should we believe and why?
Ask them what Einstein’s theory of relativity is. Chances are, if they don’t know, they are blowing smoke up your ass. What it does show, is that brainy girls are very “trendy” these days. Everyone wants a smart girl, or a gamer girl, as they are seen as the “Unicorn” of the female species. Many guys are getting tired of the same blonde bimbo porn that keeps getting reproduced over and over again.
Is working with brainy girls different from working with regular girls?
Other than IQ and the ability to use a spell-checker…
Yes, it’s quite different. I have, on occasion, had to “dumb down” my language a bit, to better explain myself to girls around me. That’s not to say “regular girls” are dumb, I am just more accustomed to having conversations with a more intellectual vernacular.
Ever since the altporn classification has been recognized, there has been some debate about what altporn exactly is. How would you define altporn?
Honestly, I see altporn as any porn/erotica that stands out from the norm. Whether it’s tattoos and piercings, rainbow colored hair, or just girls that don’t like to shave, it’s all an alternative way to live life.
What is the difference between a geek, a dork, and a nerd?
A dork is that guy who was a class clown, but wasn’t really funny. He picked on you in high school, because he liked you, but you found his personality revolting, so you never gave him the time of day.
A nerd is a braniac. Someone who spends more time in a book, than in reality.
A geek is a combination of a nerd, a dork and a gamer. And normally has a very artistic side to them, whether it’s through writing or physical artwork.
Is geek culture alt culture?
I believe so. It is beyond the norm. How many 25 year old guys do you know that spend all week after work planning a game to play on a Friday night with a set of dice, a pencil and a piece of paper? The same guys spend hundreds to thousands of dollars a year on books for D&D (or other table-top rpgs), video games for their PC and have to buy the latest R.A. Salvatore book weeks in advanced.
Most would be out bar-hopping, or trying to scam for chics.
It seems like there has always been a crossover between the amateurs market and the altporn genre. Your site, and the girls you feature on it so far, seem to have a fairly homegrown amateur feel. Keeping in mind that altporn is not a binary yes or no label, how do you see your GeekGirlsOnline site fitting into the genre?
The GeekGirls are real girls. They aren’t living it up in some mansion in LA, they aren’t spending thousands a year on botox and plastic surgery to fit inside of society’s idea of beauty. They are themselves, and they stand out because of it. They speak their minds, and dress how they feel comfortable. I think GeekGirlsOnline will be one of many sites to revolutionize the porn industry in general, as it shows you don’t need fake tits to be heard.
Thanks for this opportunity!

hello, I’m Massimiliano Griggio, excused the disturbance.
I’m an artist of Padova (ITALY) and I am trying to realize an artistic plan much ambitious. The idea is to collect, exclusively via Internet, the greater number of regarding photos the genital organ feminine them (has read correctly) in order then to realize a collage of indicative dimensions cm 200 x 200.
The demand therefore previews the collaboration of a number of 100 Mrs and Miss disposed to:
1) to photograph itself or is made to photograph THERE from own and, in total anonymity,
2) to send via mail the photo to our reckless artist. This that the artist asks is:
A- real photo: single photo with the highest possible quality will go envoys (photo collections from porn sites, where the resolution is insufficient, will come delete). I then will transform l’ image from the rows originates them to a format of cm 20×20.
B- photos to colours or in black and white will go very well provided that not elaborated with photo programs.
C- in order to guarantee the anonymity he is advisable to send the mail with photo from a case of anonymous e-mail to deliver up itself for the occasion. Es. on yahoo or other portals will be able to be made a case of mail with fantasy name and “free” personal data.
D- fantasy of the performer: the Mrs and Miss in issue will be able to fun in rest as better they believe so as to acknowledge once joined to the term the work. Having collective character the work, in the case went sold, we hope and it, will not constitute yield for the artist but, removed expenses for the press, it will serve to finance a animal rights association. The photos will go envoys to: griggio2004@yahoo.it specifying in object “6 you that it tries to me”. The artist is however available to the same mail for ulterior elucidations.
Really dig the GGO concept, the card idea for latest sets is hammy, but in a good way, though to be constructive… one of those geeky girls needs to get on the coding end of that site and spiff it up a tad.
I love Athena Hollow. We used to chat once in awhile on Live Journal back in the day. She’s a great lady!
