We are gearing up for our expanded AltStar Awards and Expo in Las Vegas next month. The convention hotel (AltStar hotel room block open for reservations now!) has graciously given us a really nice space for panels this year, with a dedicated room for panel programming. Please use the contact form to send us ideas for 15 to 30 minute talks or 30 to 60 minute conversations that would be suitable and useful for the AltStar audience. We are hoping to post some video from last year’s fantastic panels soon.

Regardless, I’m pleased to finally be able to present this conversation I had with Violet Blue, the (in)famous writer, editor, and journalist. We talk about the nature of the mainstream porn industry, how the new 2257 laws are affecting everyone in the industry, and what this altporn thang is, exactly. Violet’s an intelligent, interesting, and fun person to talk to, and I think that comes across well in this recording.
