Green hair, Hollow Knight on screen, and the quiet menace of Hallownest humming in the background is all that I see when moving into Feysbian‘s show. That little Knight standing there with the nail ready like it’s just another casual day wandering through a kingdom built entirely out of sadness, bugs, and extremely questionable architecture. Anyone familiar with the game knows that peaceful moments last about six seconds before something with too many legs drops out of the ceiling.
One minute she’s wandering through forgotten caverns, the next minute she’s getting absolutely humbled by a boss that moves like it drank three cups of espresso. The Knight’s journey always follows the same rhythm. Explore a beautiful but mildly depressing cave. Hear mysterious music. Think everything is fine. Then suddenly get pogo-launched into a boss fight that feels like a dance choreographed by pain itself.
Feysbian is having fun going through it. I think. If not for the deaths that is. Meanwhile the tiny Knight just keeps marching forward, nail in hand, determined to poke every secret wall in Hallownest until something dramatic happens!

ADHD disaster girl. Bad at life but good at other things.
