In this hypocritical world, people of power are envied for being able to procure themselves any luxury – including the forbidden ones – but chastised whenever they are discovered doing it. Mark Zane is running for an election, but caught on camera while having an affair. His wife (Evelyn Claire) decides that she can’t let this on the news and jeopardize the election, and walks to the journalist (Codey Steele) to “convince” him not to publish the story. It would be a heartwarming story of bridal devotion, were it not that she clearly says she’s doing it only to secure the power and money the office will bring… and that she seems to enjoy way too much all the “convincing” part.
The typical high end production from PureTaboo, with great care in the locations, lighting, costumes (yes there are costumes) and an overall Noir atmosphere that makes it enjoyable and believable. That, and Evelyn Claire is a marvel to behold.
