SXSW was supposed to start today. Lamenting the cancellation, we thought we would celebrate its host city of Austin by taking a look at this hot shoot of Kelly Lamprin giving a shoutout to the coolest city in Texas. Keep Austin weird.
Primary Zishy photographer Zach Venice has always had an interesting take on erotic photography. He points out that he focuses on the tease, but my favorite thing about his work is how he makes you feel like you are right there with the sexy nymphs he shoots. Sometimes the angles are awkward or simply unusual, but somehow the girls always look naturally beautiful. Zach Venice says that, as part of that natural life aesthetic, he does not prefer heavily modified women, but Kelly Lamprin is just so remarkable, that he feels it is well worth his while to point his talented lens at her. She has gotten inkier over the years, as well, this being her seventh appearance on Zishy, and it is fun to see her progress in photos and video.
You might not like inked girls. You might hate seeing their ears with dangling gauges. I feel you. I prefer natural in almost every possible way. But then there comes along women like Kelly Lamprin. A person like her challenges me to accept individualism. Just as I don’t want others to impose their tastes on my life, I need to realize that people want to do their own thing as well. I definitely do not have to photograph everyone, but I owe it to myself to photograph anyone that attracts me. Kelly still gets my vote.
