Empty pools have a feel of their own. Their shells yawning like dried out skulls in the sun, echoing with faded out laughter of fun and games. They are eerie, like abandoned amusement parks, and therefore fascinating. They make a perfect setting for this photoshoot, and match the peculiar looks of Zoli exceedingly well.
This beautiful lady with short auburn hair and big hazel eyes paces around in the dead husk of a pool on a sunny day like she had a long night of partying that still has to end. It’s a great, decadent feeling, one that is wonderfully caught on film by Ellen Stagg and her keen eye for great photo sets.
I have a couple models that have climbed into this empty pool, but this was the first set I shot with Zoli in the pool. Its so much fun and so classic LA. And Zoli is one of my favorite ladies to shoot, we have always had an amazing time.
