Burning Angel brings us an updated adult shoot version of the Evil Dead, titled Evil Head. Although Danny Wylde (shout out to a fellow Baldur’s Gate fan!) isn’t Ash, he does pretty well in this shoot that really pulls in the vibes of the Evil Dead. Kleio Valentien makes a great zombie from the neck up. I think the added green smudges to her teeth really set the tone for the entire thing and the contact lenses are a creepy touch. I am not sure who did the makeup for Kleio Valentien, but kudos to you. This entire set has great energy and, well, let’s just say brains aren’t the only things that zombies eat for protein.
The thing that really creeps me out about the second picture is the deer. Doesn’t it look like the deer is smiling? I mean, I smile when I watch Kleio in action, but I’m not stuffed on a wall either. It makes me imagine a zombie headed deer bleating loudly as the zombie Kleio Valentien gets it from behind. Now, that would be an unsettling sequel to the Evil Dead reboot.
