Although I’m no expert, I was happy to see a lack of the generally weak alt-model on alt-model fake lesbianism several other sites tend to feature. Many of the creative photo series feature an accompanying matching video series and it was interesting to be able to see the sex from both perspectives, photographically and in video. A lot of the video work is decidedly creative in production too, some verging on the realm of explicit erotic music video production instead of your standard porn clip. Chad Michael Ward’s mysterious and moody scene of Cadence smoking and dancing over a popular Dave Navarro track are worth the price of admission alone. I also really enjoyed the colorful and very hot scene with sexy redhead Phoenix Askani as the two trade orgasms in a dreamy surreal environment using fingers, toys, and tongues. The difficulty I have when girls turn their personal blogs into membership sites is that they tend to try to get too fancy with the inside is outside design styles that for whatever reason became popular in AltPorn several years ago. There is no ‘members’ area on Oi Tomboy. What you see in the blog is what you get, you just can’t quite get to it unless you have a membership. The navigation takes some getting used to and definitely had me clicking around a lot before I was able to find all the content. As the site adds more photos and videos, I would recommend giving some thought to also adding some sort of clear video and photo set directory for members. Relying on a blog style tagging system for navigation will make the site more difficult to enjoy as it grows.
Another thing that I really like about Cadence‘s Oi Tomboy site is that it did grow out of her blog and she’s maintained a very intimate and personal voice on the site, sharing her perspectives and observations from her life. It’s not all candy and cupcakes, but you do get a more complex sense of who she is along with all those hot pics and video. I do wish she’d update her monthly music recommendations though. I like her selections and suggestions, but if the last one was in February, you can’t really call it monthly. But, I only mention that because she has good taste in music and I do want more of her recommendations.
