The second issue of Burning Angel’s magazine has just been released. From what I saw in the first issue, it will feature lots of hot layouts from the Burning Angel site and a few interesting stories and interviews. This project is done in partnership with the people over at Magna Publishing, who are also responsible for Club, Velvet, Genesis, Gent, and others, and although the production is slick and professional, I wish the Burning Angel magazine had a little more of a homegrown ‘zine feel. It has hot layouts, which you can see more of on the site, but it still really feels like some Jersey porn mag publishers got their hands on some ‘wild’ tattoo broad content. If I had no internet and no DVD player, this would be good to have around, but you really can’t say “This isn’t your Dad’s porn” when it’s being put out by the people who do Swank. Still, if you want to stock your bomb shelter with your favorite Burning Angel girls so you won’t miss them when the power grid fails us, this is your ticket.
ISSUE #2 HAS ARRIVED!!! Yay! You can think of ISSUE 2 of the BURNING ANGEL MAGAZINE as a sequel to Issue 1, but with a different cast…and not shitty like most sequels, but more like a Terminator 2 scenario. Get it? This one’s got all your favorite things that Issue 1 had: DVD sampler with FREE Burning Angel scenes, hot photo spread, interviews with the girls, album reviews an on-the-set piece and more! Not to mention added sections like “Burning Question” and my advice column, ASSk Joanna. Plus an on-the-set piece from Joanna Angel and James Deen’s European Vacation! Think Terminator 2. ..get the first, but definitely get the second too!
