Someone recently stopped by a friend of mine’s house, who happens to have a fairly large poster print of the original art Mandi’s tattoo is based on, and the visitor explained loudly that it was a rip off of ‘The Descent’ movie poster. This symbolizes what’s wrong with too many people these days. If someone is going to make a charge that something is a rip off of something else, shouldn’t the supposedly derivative thing happen after the original? And if it was such a big deal that such-and-such was supposedly a rip off, why is it suddenly not a big deal to these people if it’s proven to be the other way around?
Well, this has almost nothing to do with this playful set of Mandi that went up on Brokendollz a little bit ago, but it reminded me of what goes on too often in the Alt genre. Nearly every new site we see pop up these days claims to be the first of it’s kind, fortunately BrokenDollz concentrates on building a good community for it’s members and models instead of spending their time making ridiculous claims, and we really appreciate that. I really like her sugar skull tattoo on her other shoulder as well.
Mandi’s back with a creative, Brokendollz tribute set, showing her love for the site, other Dollz, and of course, the mastermind behind the site (FYI- the site actually started as a photographer’s portfolio site, and after much interest from models from all over, it soon evolved into what it is now).
I didn’t know Salvador Dali was still alive and kicking to copy off a movie poster haha (sorry, I just find the story quite amusing, as I love Dali’s works).
Mandi is such a hottie. I love brokendollz.com, because there is so much variety- it never based itself on a certain look, never clamied to be anything it wasn’t, there is something for everyone (especially a perv like myself! haha).
I had so much fun shooting this set!!! I’m absolutely honored to be featured on altporn.net. Thank you all for the excellent feedback and I look forward to doing many more sets and love letters for Broken Dollz.
