I quickly fell in love with AdultTime’s Grinders because of its creative mix of the sexy action of an adult-themed video and its satisfying serving of drama, which is an astounding combination that this project handles incredibly well, showing how great AdultTime is at creating engaging content that tugs at our heartstrings while it also inspires us to do some “tugs” of our own.
The first part of this film takes us back to the 90’s to meet Lucky (played by Lucky Fate), a young man who loves to skate, party and paint, mostly tattoo and graffiti designs. His rebel attitude has landed him in trouble several times, however, and now the cops (special appearances by Liv Revamped and Tyron Love) are keeping tabs on him while he also goes through an existential struggle, the artist’s struggle of finding out who he is and what he’s to do with his life, and his talent.
This sets up a fantastic tale of self-growth with the backdrop of skating and painting, but it also has an emotional pull, as Lucky reconnects with people from his past, starting with his friend Morgan (Maya Woulfe), a girl he used to go to high school with, but who’s now moved on and lives far away; and while it is clear that they both have feelings for each other, as their encounter has lots of attraction-fueled awkwardness, none of them do anything about it. There’s just not enough time, given that Morgan is returning home soon.
Lucky also has a run-in with his father, played by Tommy Pistol, and this brings us a strong scene that reveals more about Lucky and his past, as well as establishing what a great actor Tommy is, since he is characterized superbly as an aging man who has learned a lot of life lessons the hard way; and while he tries to help his son out, he sees him as a lost cause, a disappointment, which he reveals to his girlfriend Vicki (Vicki Chase), leaving Lucky heartbroken and angry as their relationship remains in tatters, and he vents in the only way he knows how: through his art.
This theme about his inner thoughts coming out whenever he paints is great, because it gives the character more depth and further establishes his skill while at the same time it helps us know more about him and what’s to come in future episodes, like when he finds an old drawing that stirs something in him, revealing his quest is also secretly about a girl.
The sex scene between Tommy Pistol and Vicky Chase that takes place right after Lucky leaves his dad’s house and tags his garage door is inserted seamlessly and with a nice justification that adds more realism to it, while it also shows us that the film can have us invested in both the character struggles, and the naughty stuff, which gets really good as both Tommy and his girl Vicki unwind and play with each other until she is drinking up his cock and kissing it all over in a beautifully messy blowjob that leads to more riding and fucking, and one of the hottest bits I’ve ever seen, where Vicki takes her pinky and sticks it inside Tommy’s dickhole, at his request, showing a level of boldness and creativity that keeps on giving us plenty of cock-throbbing and panty-wetting moments.
