Friend of the APN and all around entertaining hip blogger of sexual interests Violet Blue gave her popular tinynibbles blog a nice looking design and functionality upgrade this morning. Violet has one of the surprisingly few well done prolific sex blogs and it’s on my short list of what I like to read regularly. I don’t personally always agree with everything she says, but at least I know some intelligence went into whatever she’s saying and I respect that. Go take a look at tinynibbles. She has a diversity of subject matter and I always find something new and interesting.

Speaking of things sexy and sometimes blasphemous, our own occasional APN contributor DominaDoll has just done some some serious upgrades to her sexy fun and offbeat review blog PopMyCherry. PopMyCherry is all about real sex toy reviews, adult film and movie reviews, sexuality articles, and pop culture, and it’s always a good read. We really enjoy the honest insights she shares about the products she diligently checks out and test drives for us. I’ve read a lot of useless adult product ‘reviews’ and I know I can get the real skinny from DominaDoll. Plus, she finds the weirdest stuff. I couldn’t care less if some stock-photo looking co-ed really loves her Jackrabbit because she saw it on Sex in the City, but DominaDoll has whole sections full of strange sex toys for the adventurous, like the Timber Wolf, the Dragon Tongue, the Jackhammer Jesus, and many more. She shares an intimate view of her own sexuality and fetishes, along with graphic and informative descriptions of her actual experiences with the products, how they feel going inside her, how she came, and everything else you really wanted to know but maybe didn’t ask. I really like the new improved PopMyCherry layout and I always know I can find something freaky and sexy there.

I just received an announcement about Blue Blood’s new NSFW contributor news section. It’s an impressively extensive collection of news and appearances made by people that appear on or otherwise work with Blue Blood. They tell us this is a lot like what they did with their contributors page in the Blue Blood magazine, but obviously more. They talk about girls’ magazine and book credits, site appearances, interviews, music video appearances, everything you’d want to know about your favorite models, photographers, writers, and more. I have to say that I like the idea. If I see a girl on Blue Blood, this will point me towards lots of other work she’s done that I might not know about yet. It’s a real contrast with sites that give ‘their girls’ new names and make like they keep them all in their basement when they are not using them. Even I had no idea some of these girls did so many interesting things and I pay a lot of attention. It looks like they are still working on it and asking readers for feedback, but I just spent an hour checking it out and found some great info. Amelia G always writes funny FAQ’s too.

I am usually all about keeping it real, but I wish they had retouched or otherwise covered up the razor burn in this set. I still think LynsieLee looks like so much fun. Fucking a stuffed unicorn on a site which references unicorns regularly is just cool. Plus LynsieLee posts drunk photos in her blog.

Alt crush object and MySpace superstar Dana DeArmond writes in her own behind the scenes thoughts and experiences in another installment of Naughty America’s new Celebrity Pornstar Blog series. Each of the entries is written by one of our favorite girls and it’s interesting and entertaining to get their real behind the scenes perspective from the world of pro porn. One interesting pattern we noticed is that hipster pseudo nü-feminists with blogger/blogspot accounts that like to tell you they are the first ones to take their clothes off, strip, turn tricks, have kinky one night stands, etc. and then intellectualize about it the next day, week, month, year, and hopefully get a book deal out of it, are oddly consistent when it comes to forgetting to give link love to people who support them. A statistically large number of them have links pages that mysteriously 404. This probably means something ironically Freudian.
