When someone passes away, people often say they were one of a kind, but Masuimi Max truly was one of a kind. Her contributions to the alt genre are so important that she genuinely helped shape the vibrant space where alt now flourishes. I personally enjoyed working with her, even at her whirlwind most force of nature danger level, maybe especially then. She won so many AltStar Awards and even performed on our event stage. Her excellent advice helped us decide to move the AltStar Awards to Las Vegas.

Mainstream coverage of her untimely passing is all “she was published by Playboy and Maxim and here is a hot photo of her” which is fine, but her accomplishments were so much more than just that. She designed her own websites, ran the Vegas Chaos events with bands and burlesque, performed all over the world with very creative routines, modeled for a who’s who of alternative clothing brands, was a muse for many legendary artists and photographers, and created beautiful artistic shoot after shoot in partnership with Morat. I’ve gathered up over a hundred photos of Masuimi Max at the AltStar Awards, aka AltPorn Awards, over the years, along with a sampling of her music video appearances below. Masuimi Max has probably been on more magazine covers than any other alt model and she has performed her unique brand of burlesque all over the world. The event takes place June 11 at Boardner’s, 1652 N Cherokee Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90028. VIP red carpet begins at 6:30pm and doors open to fan attendees at 10pm. The night features the AltPorn Awards ceremony, a special performance by Masuimi Max, DJ Tommy and others spinning the best dark gothic, industrial, and alternative music. Afterparty host Kent Kaliber will have the Sinister Go Go Girls dancing. Purgatory Pleasures will be upstairs in the loft with performances by Master Paul, Feenix, Catterina, and their sensual subs, and fetish play stations available. Every year, AltPorn/AltStar Awards winners are selected based on a combination of deliberation by the AltPorn.Net judges panel of editorial and writing staff and votes from fans, models, and producers.

As Masuimi herself said when talking about this set, the bed isn’t one made for sleeping, it’s clearly made for sex, and that’s obviously what her outfit is about too. No one could sleep easily in what she’s wearing, but you could certainly be inspired into a lot of fun.

Masuimi sheds clothes until she’s down to a comfortable level for christening her new, opulent bed, covered more fully by her amazing tattoos than her bodice. We can only imagine what the bed was used for once the photoshoot was over.

Later in the set Masuimi shows off one of her other trademarks, her awesome back artwork, completely unobscured by even a bra strap, as she’s managed to get completely naked by this time.

But now I have to be the bearer of bad news, particularly if you were a really big fan of the ornate bra BadMax supplied for this shoot. Even though she liked it, Masuimi Max decided to part with the lacy black thing and put it up for open bidding on eBay. The bad news is the auction ended a while ago, so you’ve missed out on owning a little piece of this shoot. You’ll just have to make do with the amazing pictures, like the rest of us.

If it helps, just think of Masuimi as a particularly hot Easter Bunny cosplayer. In this set she is wearing a glittering golden mask with bunny ears, complimented by a similarly bejeweled bodice, bra and knickers, covered up (almost) by a striking red jacket. The art of this shoot doesn’t just come from the costuming though, it comes from Miss Max herself, not only are her perfect lips a brilliant red to match the jacket, but she also bares her near-perfect breasts and puts her sleeve tattoos, which are works of art in themselves, on display, making for a very striking, and hot, set.

In this new raw photoshoot Masuimi Max looks as good as ever, and she’s getting straight to the point, posing in simple black lingerie and with a choker and imposing pink eye make-up. Ms Max knows as well as the rest of us what the shoot is about though, and she’s only to happy to follow the tried and tested formula. BadMax captures the smoky look in Masuimi’s eyes as she strips and poses candidly, displaying her killer body and her brilliant tattoo work.

Sometimes, or in fact most times, that’s more than enough, especially when the camera is being fixed with smoldering looks like the ones offered by Masuimi Max at the end of this shoot.

This vampiric lesbian wedding photoshoot from BadMax is the kind that would drive the religious right into a mouth-foaming, Bible-bashing frenzy about the end of times. (Though I dare say 99% of them would be totally turned on by it at the same time, thus only compounding their confusion). That alone is a good enough reason, in my book, to celebrate the photographic union of Masuimi and Metal.

They say marriage is a union, of equals and opposites and the girls’ black and white, day and night, light and dark wedding dresses look incredible, though they both look even better without them, obviously. I particularly liked the photo of Masuimi and Metal hugging. They look really happy together. Not to mention REALLY hot…

If anyone here knows of any lawful reason why Masuimi Max and Metal Sanaz shouldn’t be joined in marriage, then keep your mouths shut and let the rest of us hold our pieces…
