Most notably, for the past 11 years he’s been the illustrator for Tattoo magazine and also created work for publications like Secret and Marquis to bands like The Genitorturers and Electric Frankenstein. Ed gets a kick seeing his artwork lifted from magazine pages and tattooed on people’s bodies. “It’s quite a trip to think that if they don’t cover it up with a big eightball, they’ll be taking my illustrations to the grave”. He’s been lucky to have his work supported by the people who inspire him (i.e., Gen of the Genitorturers, Mistress Persephone, Porsche Lynn, Julie Strain, Kitten Natividad), all strong, intelligent, creative women. “There really isn’t a process to my work it’s just a manifestation of the kind of eye candy I like to see. A juxtaposition of pop trash and fetish culture. To quote Bukowski, ‘The difference between Art and Life is that Art is more bearable'”.

All work is produced traditionally with pencil and then finished digitally with Adobe Photoshop and Painter.
