The digital red carpet was hosted by the vivacious Emily Bloom and the awards show itself was hosted by charismatic cosplayer extraordinaire Molly Stewart (the artist also known as MissMolly. When Molly was announced as the host for the XBIZ Cam Awards, she enthused, “I’m SO unbelievably excited for this. Thank you, XBIZ – can’t wait to do what I do best… livestream.” An interesting factor for livestreaming was that attendees were dressed up at home, so many were sitting at their desks, looking fancy from the waist up, but with no pants on. One of the funniest moments was when Emily Bloom asked pornstar Wolf Hudson to stand up and show the bottom of his outfit. He was wearing a stylish military style jacket, but he told Emily she didn’t want to see anything lower. When she bantered flirtatiously that he didn’t know what she wanted to see, he explained that, no, he just had sweatpants on over his man parts. Note to everyone: As more events go virtual, you might want to put on pants for digital red carpets.
