It feels amazing that AltPorn.net has been covering all things AltPorn for well over two decades now and we always enjoy the time of year when we can expand on the recognition and appreciation that all of our creative alternative erotica friends and crushes deserve. As we do every year, we’re accepting recommendations for all the categories from the fans, models, and producers, as well as our own editorial board of judges. If you know of any work produced in 2025 that really deserves attention for being outstanding, please hit up our nominations form here. We introduced some new categories a few years ago especially for indie-produced clips and premium social media and last year introduced one for toy 3d asset designers. If, as the world changes, and alt drives adult and adult drives the future, you can think of categories we should add, please suggest them!

If you only want to nominate in one category, that is fine. If you want to share your opinion on all of them, that works too. Our panel of judges will gather the qualified suggestions in each category. You can just put a name in and press Continue, but it is helpful if you let us know why you suggested your noms. You are welcome to ask your friends and fans and collaborators to submit prenoms recommendations for you, but it is a plus if they mention why you are awesome and links to the work always help too.

Shares on X and Blue Sky of who you nominated will also be considered. If you want to make fun graphics to promote specific potential nominees, you can make promotional graphics with our promo graphic maker.

For potential nominees, it is helpful if you can make sure we see your work and you are warmly welcome to contact us to send us links to see videos, photography, performance recordings, PDF downloads etc. or to request our mailing address to send over toys and physical media.

The 2025 AltStar Awards celebration was truly amazing this year. We want to thank each and every one of you involved, from the companies and makers that support our vision for a greater alternative community to the producers and talented content creators, to all the legions of fans and friends that diligently nominated and voted to support some of the most awesome work we’ve seen. You all put so much into this and we are so proud to channel that energy into providing a strong and supportive network for all of you to keep creating the fantastic things that you do.

Our spectacular ceremony hosts were once again Jeffrey Damnit as Master of Ceremonies and Malice McMunn as the Trophy Goddess. 2022 and 2024 Best Modern Burlesque Winner Angel Beau showed off her signature style of alternative Vaudeville sideshow burlesque for the intermission entertainment. Our love goes out to all the people who made this weekend’s festivities truly special.

I want to take a moment to thank Bad Dragon, who doesn’t just “present” the event, but really believes in our vision of a positive collaborative and supportive community, rooted in the mutual goal of fostering great creative alternative sexuality and sexy fun expressions of remarkable individuality.
