We still have a few speaker slots on some of the panels listed below, so please contact us if you would like to share knowledge with your peers. If you are press or a nominee, please contact us for complimentary tickets. Other Industry VIP tickets are available for purchase at altstarawards.com and all you need to do is list your socials or site or where your industry work can be seen and you are good to go.

We started the AltStar Awards aka AltPorn Awards, a decade and a half ago, to recognize some of the amazingly cool creative things that are always going on but often overlooked in our artistically sexual community. The sorts of things that the mainstream industry types might not have understood or appreciated back in the day. But, more and more, they are coming around to what we’ve always enjoyed: Breaking the mold and celebrating diverse individuality, punk rock DIY attitude, ethical creative processes, counterculture influences and a tribal sense of connected supportive community.

It feels amazing that AltPorn.Net has been covering all things AltPorn for over two decades now and we always enjoy the time of year when we can expand on the recognition and appreciation that all of our creative alternative erotica friends and crushes deserve.

This year, we’ve added a Fan Appreciation Day on Saturday May 31st, which is available with a more limited ticket, for those that want to meet their favorite creators and stars, as well as enjoying the exhibits and artists, without requiring the usual industry credentials. Please be respectful.

We would like to welcome Bad Dragon as exclusive Presenting Sponsor of the 2025 AltStar Awards, aka the AltPorn Awards. We are so happy to have the opportunity to celebrate our awards with such an amazing live event again this year! We are expanding the whole celebratory weekend yet again with fun industry-only activities on May 29 and 30 and the new Fan Appreciation Day and Pro Penis Riders AltStar Expo afterparty on May 31. Then, on June 1, the 2025 AltStar Awards are taking place at the Swan Dive venue in the Downtown Las Vegas Arts District. The 2024 AltStar Expo and Awards Celebration was truly amazing this year and we want to thank each and every one of you involved, from the companies and makers that support our vision for a greater alternative community to the producers and talented content creators, to all the legions of fans and friends that diligently nominated and voted to support some of the most awesome work we’ve seen. You all put so much into this and we are so proud to channel that energy into providing a strong and supportive network for all of you to keep creating the fantastic things that you do.

I want to take a moment to thank Bad Dragon, who doesn’t just “present” the event, but really believes in the vision of a positive collaborative and supportive community, rooted in the mutual goal of fostering great creative alternative sexuality and sexy fun expressions of remarkable individuality. We want to thank LoyalFans for providing a great platform for cool indie creators to reach their fans. We want to thank Hankey’s Toys for making such epic sexy sculptures. We want to thank Chaturbate for all that they do to promote such a diverse sexuality in the cam space. And, of course Zinetastic for helping us distribute all our magazines (in print and digital) to all the readers. Thank you to Sinwave Las Vegas for providing such a great venue for the ceremony too! A very special thank you goes to Blue Blood, Amelia G, and Forrest Black, for supporting us since day one, convincing us to have these awards shows for the community, helping us launch our magazines, and so much more. Our spectacular ceremony hosts were once again Jeffrey Damnit as Master of Ceremonies and Malice McMunn as the Trophy Goddess. Amelia G and Forrest Black hosted the red carpet, interviewing dozens of luminaries doing their fabulous red carpet walks! 2023 Best Modern Burlesque Winner Daisy Ducati showed off her enthralling modern burlesque with a very hot and especially electrifying performance for the intermission entertainment. Our love goes out to all the people who made this weekend’s festivities truly special.

The next days (and likely weeks) will be a torrent of media, from all the fantastic photographers and videographers who helped capture all the action from the entire three days. But, for now, I’m sure you want to get to who the winners are this year! One personal note that I wanted to share though, for the folks that were nominated this year, and know you have been doing top level work and maybe feel a little down that you didn’t happen to be called up to the stage this time around, I want you to keep in mind that this year’s trophies are for recognizing the work done in 2023, and we really do see you out there killing it in 2024, so we really do look forward to seeing you on the stage in 2025! We love that this community is so supportive of the ones who do win, but we’re also here to support everyone who is putting in their best work and we hope we can recognize each and every one of you, as well as give you the tools and network you need to keep doing all the great things you do.

AltPorn.net is very happy to announce that, honoring excellence in alternative erotica, we are now taking nominations suggestions for our Best of 2022 AltPorn Awards, aka the AltStar Awards, presented by Bad Dragon!

It feels amazing that AltPorn.net has been covering all things AltPorn for over two decades now and we always enjoy the time of year when we can expand on the recognition and appreciation that all of our creative alternative erotica friends and crushes deserve. As we do every year, we’re taking nominations for all the categories from the fans, models, and producers, as well as our own editorial board of judges.

So, if you know of any work produced in 2022 that really deserves attention for being outstanding, just hit up our nominations form. Categories are listed there. We introduced some new ones a couple years ago, especially for indie-produced clips and premium social media. If, as the world changes, and alt drives adult and adult drives the future, you can think of categories we should add, please suggest them! If you only want to nominate in one category, that is fine. If you want to share your opinion on all of them, that works too. Our panel of judges will gather the qualified suggestions in each category. You can just put a name in and press Continue, but it is helpful if you let us know why you suggested your noms. You are welcome to ask your friends and fans and collaborators to nominate you, but it is a plus if they mention why you are awesome and links to the work always help too. Shares on Twitter of who you nominated will also be considered.

This series of photographs is primarily of our AltPorn Awards afterparty, including Masuimi Max’s fire fetish burlesque performance. Although we start our red carpet arrivals with an invite-only time period, we feel it is important that our awards show and afterparty celebration be open to the public. In all creative fields, this year’s fan is next year’s superstar, but this is especially true in alt where the indie spirit is so important. In alt, we are all part of the same community.
