Bondage Ball marked its 22nd year with an electrifying return to The Mayan in Downtown Los Angeles on July 7th, 2025, enveloping the city’s nightlife in decadent leather, latex, and avant-garde fashion and bringing Los Angeles its unrestrained yet unpretentious spectacles of beautiful sexy perversions. The beloved indie film actor, writer, orator, and AltStar Awards MC Jeffrey Damnit presided over the mainstage once again, dazzling the crowd with wit and energy. Main stage performance from BoundHouse included Dorian Dane, Dani Synclair, Demonisa, and Lady Sexwax. In the massive upstairs VIP lair, the city’s most stunning kinksters mingled, while both seasoned lifestyle participants and curious newcomers found their place amidst the body-positive, all-inclusive celebration. Shot at the biggest AltStar Expo yet, this is a gallery of photos of the exhibits and media halls and just fun convention candids. 2025 marked the expansion to four days of fun. The first two days of the AltStar Expo were Industry only and then there was the brand new Fan Appreciation Day, followed by the AltStar Awards on the last day.

In addition to three days packed with panels and demos from top industry experts, the AltStar Expo has an exhibitor hall with booths from content and toy brands in the alt space, alongside carefully curated purveyors of everything deliciously alternative, from gothic jewelry to 3d printed kink, and, of course, on the Fan Appreciation Day, tons of wonderful altmodels. Attendees were able to shop for hard-to-find unique toys in person and get information about content creation and marketing and streaming. In addition, a lot of collaborative media was created right on the show floor. Thank you to Wandering Bard, Joystick, BlueBlood, Zinetastic, AltErotic, Gothurbate, Dan Eternal, Sinister Salon, Colorful Cook, Alchemist Echidna, Erotic Sky, Pleasure Print Studios, Paladin Pleasure Sculptors, Pleasure Forge, and everyone else who made the AltStar Expo exhibits and media halls such a fun and interesting success.
