AltStar Awards nightclub candids pics by Jay’s Playhouse

In addition to three days packed with panels and demos from top industry experts, the AltStar Expo has an exhibitor hall with booths from content and toy brands in the alt space, alongside carefully curated purveyors of everything deliciously alternative, from gothic jewelry to 3d printed kink, and, of course, on the Fan Appreciation Day, tons of wonderful altmodels. Attendees were able to shop for hard-to-find unique toys in person and get information about content creation and marketing and streaming. In addition, a lot of collaborative media was created right on the show floor. Our favorite Dark Asteroid Pretty cosmetic is their Ghostly Foundation & Lightening Potion. I really love the creative detailing on this pair. It feels amazing that AltPorn.net has been covering all things AltPorn for well over two decades now and we always enjoy the time of year when we can expand on the recognition and appreciation that all of our creative alternative erotica friends and crushes deserve. As we do every year, we’re accepting recommendations for all the categories from the fans, models, and producers, as well as our own editorial board of judges. If you know of any work produced in 2025 that really deserves attention for being outstanding, please hit up our nominations form here. We introduced some new categories a few years ago especially for indie-produced clips and premium social media and last year introduced one for toy 3d asset designers. If, as the world changes, and alt drives adult and adult drives the future, you can think of categories we should add, please suggest them!

If you only want to nominate in one category, that is fine. If you want to share your opinion on all of them, that works too. Our panel of judges will gather the qualified suggestions in each category. You can just put a name in and press Continue, but it is helpful if you let us know why you suggested your noms. You are welcome to ask your friends and fans and collaborators to submit prenoms recommendations for you, but it is a plus if they mention why you are awesome and links to the work always help too.

Shares on X and Blue Sky of who you nominated will also be considered. If you want to make fun graphics to promote specific potential nominees, you can make promotional graphics with our promo graphic maker.

For potential nominees, it is helpful if you can make sure we see your work and you are warmly welcome to contact us to send us links to see videos, photography, performance recordings, PDF downloads etc. or to request our mailing address to send over toys and physical media.

Bizarre Bar is the perfect backdrop for our community—an Austin-born venue designed by music lovers for music lovers, priding itself on inclusivity and creative expression. With its spacious outdoor patio and wraparound balcony offering downtown skyline views, you’ll experience our awards ceremony in an authentically alternative atmosphere, just 1.7 miles from the Plaza. As always, the evening will kick off with our usual star-powered red carpet and open bar, followed by the ceremony and a special burlesque performance.

In addition to three days packed with panels and demos from top industry experts, the AltStar Expo has an exhibitor hall with booths from content and toy brands in the alt space, alongside carefully curated purveyors of everything deliciously alternative, from gothic jewelry to 3d printed kink, and, of course, on the Fan Appreciation Day, tons of wonderful altmodels. Attendees were able to shop for hard-to-find unique toys in person and get information about content creation and marketing and streaming. In addition, a lot of collaborative media was created right on the show floor.
