The navigation is three items deep: Plug-in Wands, Cordless Wands, Our Story. The line underneath is tiered cleanly, with the Die Cast Max in plug-in and cordless, the Die Cast Compact Cordless, the Doxy Original Plug-in, and the compact Doxy Go. A Compare Models page does the sorting so the homepage does not have to. Doxy‘s own advice is to browse on a desktop or tablet, and the layout earns that: this is a stacked, editorial page built for scrolling slowly.

The dark aesthetic is what you notice. The engineering argument is what matters. “Engineered to be felt” and “The enemy is compromise” are the slogans, but the specifics underneath are more pointed. The cordless Die Cast models are rated IPX4 splash resistant, the Go is rated IPX7 fully waterproof, and the signature “deep rumble” is framed as a tuning decision: depth over raw RPM, with a linked explainer. Wand marketing has long been a speed contest. Doxy is arguing that the character of the motor counts for more than its number, and the site is organized around making that case before it shows a single colorway.

The human layer is deliberate too. Reviews carry verified-buyer badges and replies signed “Leigh,” and an Owners Club signup sits alongside the product grid. That fits the company’s recent history. Doxy launched in 2013 as a UK answer to the Hitachi Magic Wand’s unavailability, co-founded by William Garland and engineer Andrew Crichton. After its longtime licence-holder, CMG Leisure, entered administration in 2025, Garland and former CMG sales and marketing director Leigh Dedhar formed DOXY 2.0 Ltd and took over the brand. The site is the public face of that reset.

Mature wand brands rarely get to redesign from zero. Doxy’s page tells you it intends to be judged on the motor, and it puts the rumble explainer where other sites put the discount banner.

The continuous taper on the UnicornHorn48 runs from narrowest at the head to widest at the base with no abrupt flare. That contour exists because the mold came directly from the performer: no sculpting, no artistic approximation, no studio interpretation from reference images. The original mold captured the vein structure, the ridges, and the continuous taper as they are. Most performer collaborations in this category stop at “inspired by” or “sculpted in his likeness.” This one didn’t, and Hankey‘s is clear about the difference. It’s what fans really want, as realistic as possible, well, aside from UnicornHorn48 being available in an impressive array of sizes.

Mr. Hankey’s Toys has been hand-pouring high quality artisanally manufactured pieces to order in 100% platinum-cured silicone (nonporous, phthalate-free, domestically sourced) long enough to establish a consistent AltStar presence. Hankey‘s shows up regularly in the AltStar Awards Best Sex Toy and Best Butt Toy categories and has maintained a long-running role as a supportive Awards sponsor as well. The UnicornHorn48 follows the same small-batch process: made to order in five sizes (XS through XL, 8.5 to 13.38 inches overall), with serialized hologram authentication and customizable firmness from soft through extra firm.

For my money, what separates a lifecast worth the premium from the novelty side of this category is the process: the vein structure and the attractive familiar taper are in the piece because the mold started in the right place, as a true reflection of the performer and made with the best care and materials.
