It definately is a good site to check out statistics, though not 100% accurate, it still gives an idea. I installed the toolbar on internut exploder which I rarely use, but wanted to give it a go, but every time I download it, my hubby ends up removing it. Damn him, damn him to hell. Oh well, I've loved alexa for quite a while, I like to check up on the sites, and the current rankings/ stats.

Alexa data is of some use, but should be taken with a grain of salt. The data is only as acurrate as the sample taken, and Alexa's sample only includes users who have installed software that reports visits to Alexa, like the Alexa Toolbar. Check out some of the disclaimers offered at http://www.alexa.com/site/help/traffic_learn_more . But, there really isn't anything better than Alexa, so it's what we go with.

It should also be noted that Google PageRank (PR) is *not* a popularity ranking, but rather the "importance" that the Google search engine assigns the page. Generally pages that have a high PR will show up higher in search results, and pages that are linked from a high-PR site will in turn receive higher PR numbers.

That's a good suggestion Leila. Not sure how that site slipped out. They currently have an Alexa ranking of 306,727, so that would put them between FatalBeauty and BellaVendetta on the chart.

PR is page rank according to Google. They have a 1 to 10 system, and higher is better. So, if the chart were sorted by Google, SG would have the best with a 7, followed by BlueBlood, BurningAngel, SuperCult, EroticBPM, SpicepPlay, NoFouxxx, all the way down to CityKitty.

Don't the visitors have to have an alexa tool bar installed in order for alexa to track the statistics? I'm sure the numbers would be much different if every single person who has one visted the sites had the toolbar installed. Or am I mistaken?
