It’s been far too long since our last podcast, but these things take more work to organize, record, and edit than you might imagine. Regardless, I’m pleased to finally be able to present this conversation I had with Violet Blue, the (in)famous writer, editor, and journalist. We talk about the nature of the mainstream porn industry, how the new 2257 laws are affecting everyone in the industry, and what this altporn thang is, exactly. Violet’s an intelligent, interesting, and fun person to talk to, and I think that comes across well in this recording.

Could you please put some notes up, especially names of and links to some of the indie porn producers Violet mentions?
I really should do that. I’ve not had much time to do so, though… if someone passes on some notes like that to me, though, I will happily update this post with them.
