Our friend Fedora just shot some sultry hot new stuff for Blue Blood and the set that just posted is really sexy. I love the candid punk feel captured and public nudity can be so much fun. Fedora takes what looks like a naked smoke break and the sexy tough girl attitude is thick. She’s also grown in a full on bush for this shoot which is really rare to see, especially in alt, but a welcomed change, although it makes her funny little mustache tattoo more like a soul patch now.

This hot holidayish Deviant Nation series was shot by one of our favorite alt personalities, the lovely and talented Fedora, and she did a great job. She captured genuine heat between Mayhem and Melinda as well as a really pleasant comfortable sexy vibe. And yes, we had to give you the bonus cute shot just so we could see Fedoras sexy feets and the dreaded puppy interruptus. The scenario is that Mayhem gets a hot present, but I’m a little confused about some of that. Anyway, this is a really sexy set and you should totally go check it out.

I love this intimately erotic gothy fetishistic series of Salem, beautifully shot for BrokenDollz by Fedora. The soft morningish light accentuating Salems lush curves and amazing smooth skin. It’s a loving study in hot lingerie, kinky heels, and just a great looking girl. Fedora really captured Salems witchy woman look, up close and personal. I’m in love with Salem’s mouth, her eyes, and everything else. If for nothing else, you should check out BrokenDollz to enjoy these.

It’s been a while since we checked in with our friends over at BrokenDollz, but it looks like they have been keeping themselves busy in the meantime. I immediately noticed their hot new update calendar, which makes navigating to all their updates much much easier. I’m really liking the new feature a lot. It clearly shows the three to five updates they do each week, with nice thumbs of the hot girls. I’d like it if the girls name linked to her actual profile page, instead of just that specific set, but it really does help give a sense of what’s new and a good way to get to it.

This fun electro-punkish series of the always entertaining Fedora just posted and it points out one of the aspects of BrokenDollz that we really enjoy. They content is hot and has a very real quality to it. Some of the bigger brand Alt-sites have some very slick content, but these always strike us as more genuinely homey DIY altporn. It’s a bit less self conscious, which means that there will occasionally be some shots that are kind of cringe worthy, but that’s really ok because there is also a sense of intimacy and creative freedom. This is Fedora’s 13th set for BD and she’s clearly not taking herself too seriously. It’s fun and I like the nod to clubby cyber/steampunk, with the idustrial goggles and bright gemstone colors.

We were just checking in with our friends over at BrokenDollz and they have been putting up some really nice looking stuff. They don’t make a lot of headlines and they don’t have much drama, but they have been chugging along with their own collection of genuinely cool girl next door cuties for an impressive number of years. If my math is correct, they just celebrated their four year anniversary as a membership site, and we’re really impressed they they have not let it go to their heads. They have 143 girls appearing on their site and a lot of them have a good number of sexy photosets, much like our friend Fedora here, who just had her tenth set post on the site. We like Fedora, not just for how cute she is, but also for who she is. Her personality and her attitude about her sexuality make her a great example of what this should all be about. One of the other things I enjoy about BrokenDollz is that their pictures don’t look like video box covers. Their sets are nice looking and have not been worked to the point of not looking real anymore. These look like fun cool girls you could know in real life, and we like that.

The biggest problem MM has, as a site and as a community, is that it exists to assist a bunch of untalented amateurs into deluding themselves into believing that they are going to be big professionals some day. As a result, someone like Fedora gets the short end of the stick because she is actually genuinely trying to do something real and independent.

MM will always support models and photographers listing their more corporate achievements because corporate achievements make them feel successful. Even other people’s corporate achievements make moderators with lackluster personal portfolios feel like they are going to make it big some day. Never mind the fact that major corporations are always happy to mine the desperate wannabe underground for free labor. What do you think powers the music industry?

Fedora is not the first model or photographer to be forced to remove a link to APN. The rule appears to be that corporate credits like Hustler and SuicideGirls and GodsGirls and Playboy will be overlooked. But credits with genuinely independent sites like FedorasBox and BrokenDollz and Blue Blood and BellaVendetta are likely to come under scrutiny. That the scrutiny generally comes from moderators with very limited portfolios is a given. If they spent more time shooting, and less time persecuting and passing judgment on people like Fedora, then maybe they really would become big time professionals some day, just like their delusional fantasies.
