I normally try to keep this site free of the bullshit that gets tossed around behind the scenes. I cover sites that I don’t know super well, and sites that some people vehemently dislike. Honestly, to actively have your content ignored from this site, you have to really do heinous shit that I think it destructive to the scene as a whole.
One organization I’m very proud to cover is Blueblood. I’ve been friends and colleagues with Amelia and Forrest for a few years now, and have enjoyed both our personal and professional relationships. For many years they have gone out of their way to support subculture/scene endeavours, including other sites, publications, events, and the like. I believe they consistenly go above and beyond to support, publicize, and establish strong, mutually beneficial with their models, photographers, and other professional partners. They continue to conduct themselves this way despite the increasingly territorial, antagonistic nature of this “scene.”
Recently, many rumors have been discussed about Blue Blood supposedly purchasing a block of SuicideGirls content. Amelia G has written a response to these reports that clairifies the situation, and explains what their intentions would have been if they had purchased a license.
