AltPorn.net has gotten a lot of mail from people who miss our AltPorn Traffic and Rankings stories, so I’ve been invited back for another addition. This installment covers the QuantCast Estimated Monthly Visitors metrics. Quantcast has earned itself the reputation as being the most accurate traffic analysis tool available to the general public and is widely accepted as being far less gamable than other popular measures. QuantCast has changed their rankings reporting mechanism since my last traffic study installment and now only reports statistical numerical ranking measurements for sites that actually include their ‘Quantified’ measurement tool directly in their code. However, their Estimated Monthly Visitors statistics are still available for all. EMV is a good stat, as it gives a realistic feel for how many visitors a site is really getting in an average month, so that is what we will be using. We’ve tried to compile as complete a site list as we can, although we do exclude solo girls sites. If you have sites you feel should be included, please contact us and make your suggestions. For example, we debated the inclusion of Zivity, contact us if you have an opinion either way.

You will notice the addition of a few new AltPorn sites, some of which are doing phenomenally well, such as My Emo Bitch and Amateur Emo Girls. These sites reflect the recent popularity of ‘ex-girlfriend’ sites in online adult. They operate on the pretense that angry boyfriends upload embarrassing naked pictures of their former girlfriends for everybody to see. It’s depressing that this sub-genre is as popular as it is, but it goes to show that being popular doesn’t always mean being cool or good. These sites should still be included as they do reflect a realistic assessment of what people are looking at these days though. You may also notice APN has made a few adjustments to the AltPorn A-List. Inactive sites like RazorDolls are being removed. RazorDolls was a fun and sexy site, but it hasn’t updated in years. It was a good example of the AltPorn genre, but sending people there to join a dead site seemed wrong and/or unfair. We’ll hold out hope RD gets back on it’s feet, but for now it joins the ranks of ManicJane, FatalBeauty, SpicePlay, CityKittie, PornForPunks, and all the other dead AltPorn sites that once had interesting alternative content we’ve enjoyed.

These statistics are best evaluated as relative, rather than absolute. If you feel your favorite site gets more visitors, then consider that all sites measured probably get more visitors, as they are all measured with the same criteria. For example, judging by our own internal stats measures AltPorn.net gets an average of 101,000 unique visitors a month, but QuantCast only counts 57,868, and we’re actually Quantified. I’m not sure if I’m going to be allowed to keep writing for APN or not, but, for now, I just had to share these shots of Diana from GodsGirls with you. GodsGirls photographer Matthew Cooke knows how to make you want a shirt. Diana has on a teensy little top with a huge gold GG logo on them and that top is nowhere big enough to contain her fantastic breasts. Then she uses a little gold vibrator which matches the GG logo. Her blog is one of the more well-written ones on GodsGirls too. Sometimes I wish they didn’t have blogs because I’ll see pictures where a girl looks pretty and fun and then her blog will be all tragic in a way which doesn’t really fit the fantasy in the pictures. Diana’s blog feels really genuine. She is from Manchester, but she flew to America to see the Warped Tour and shot with GodsGirls while it was convenient. She seems to really care about music and good tattoos. She is a work of art herself and she is forever fantastic in my book because she snuck a picture at the airport of a woman checking through security in a giant bunny outfit. Breaking the rules!

I am usually all about keeping it real, but I wish they had retouched or otherwise covered up the razor burn in this set. I still think LynsieLee looks like so much fun. Fucking a stuffed unicorn on a site which references unicorns regularly is just cool. Plus LynsieLee posts drunk photos in her blog.

I was just watching the episode of Everybody Hates Chris where Chris Rock and Greg cut school to see Ghostbusters. Technically, I was watching my friend’s kid for her and her kid was watching Everybody Hates Chris, but the point is that I was just thinking about Ghostbusters and the scene where the giant Pillsbury Doughboy is rampaging through New York. Maybe the adorable Hezzy is a Ghostbusters fan. Either way, she is cute as a button with her teeny hot pink pigtails and this GodsGirls set is fun.

I saved these GodsGirls images to my hard drive a while back because I wanted to write something about them. Now I don’t remember what I was going to say or even which of the fifteen updates of Roxy Contin on GodsGirls and the whopping forty-four updates of Leona on GodsGirls these are from. I think these are both photographed by Matthew Cooke and each features an American flag, so seems appropriate for 4th of July.

For people still keeping score in the never ending antagonistic relationship between GodsGirls and SuicideGirls, the viral mock SG site SewersideGirls.com has just been turned into a GodsGirls promotional pic-of-the-day site. I don’t expect a lot of people to really care about this, but I think it’s interesting.

Although we have included GodsGirls in out traffic and popularity studies and they are listed in our AltPorn A-List, traditionally we haven’t really covered GodsGirls updates here at APN. In the general time line of AltPorn, they came on pretty late and launched in a style that could really be described as awkward. To AltPorn purists and fans of this creative and eclectic genre, it seemed like they were buying into and perpetuating a lot of the bad and destructive practices and attitudes that were originally introduced by SuicideGirls. The stuff that many feel tarnished the genre as a whole. With their (lengthy) launch, GodsGirls‘ attitude has come off as too shallow, too self important, way too territorial, too dishonest in presentation, too self absorbed, etc. It was an awful lot of bark without a whole lot of bite. A lot of toes got stepped on, going so far as to even result in some legal proceedings and other distasteful fallout. It was a rough start.

Now GodsGirls have been around for a little while and it really seems like they have learned a thing or two. Their attitude seems a little more tempered by the experience of running a site for a while. I can’t say they have fixed everything which was originally problematic, and they do still say a few things in interviews for example which we feel are questionable at best, but they do seem to have matured as a site and as a business, so it seems only fair to make more of an effort over here to keep everyone up to date with the fun and sexy things going on at GodsGirls.

All that said, GodsGirls leader Annaliese respond to our post about generally lackluster AltPorn Easter updates via Twitter, and pointed out that GodsGirls had a whole bunch of fun Easter updates and invited us to check them out. It really was like finding a bright basket full of goodies and sweets. We’re into sharing our jelly-beans so here you go.

Sexy Jenna has embodied the spirit of the Peepshow tradition and merged it with a shot of StuffOnMyCat for this sugary marshmallow pile-up. She has some fantastically impressive breasts, made all the more tasty with colorful Easter treats. Her gothy make-up is really sexy in this set too. Annaliese made some noise about how GodsGirls isn’t Goth, but that looks pretty goth to me, and I don’t have a problem with that at all.

Pale and petite GodsGirl Toryn also sent in this ‘DIY’ set of herself rolling around with her basket of treats. ‘DIY’ is what GodsGirls calls photosets girls submit of themselves. Different sites have different terminology for this, but I do sometimes like the intimate and personal feel. They usually have that amateur energy that more then makes up for pro production values in general heat and personality.

Apneatic (Apnea) and Kate share some peeps in this GodsGirls set too. Are you seeing a trend yet? I was just reading about the extensive tattoo work Apnea had been putting herself through this past year and it sounds like an ordeal to say the least. She’s been having new in put on and old ink removed. It’s like skin art remodeling. I almost expect to see her surrounded by scaffolding like they did with the Statue of Liberty so many years ago. Sometimes when I see two got girls in a set together, I’d like to see them really together, not just flirting at being together. The giggly air kisses and skittish reluctant touching comes across adolescent and I’m an adult, hopefully looking at adult sexuality. On the other hand, it’s peeps, not serious business. They look like they are having fun anyway.

GodsGirl Ash sent in this messy sort of spoogy Cadbury creampie DIY set and although it’s not as professionally lit or shot, it comes off as really fucking sexy. She looks both adorable and excitingly raunchy in her cute bunny ears and sticky sweet Cadbury cream splattered all over her nice titties and squirted all over her clean shaved vag. There is just something really hot about this set and it looks like a really good time. It’s both sweet and dirty hot all in the same package.

If I don’t think about it too much, this sploshy GodsGirls set from Gabrielle and Erica is visually really interesting. The raw eggs give my stomach a little twist, but the wet yellow texture drooling over their colorful tattoos makes for a striking look. They don’t seem that excited to be doing it though, not that I can blame them. Eggshell in the ass crack sounds more like a euphemism than anything I’d actually want to wish upon any girl I thought was hot. Some people are more into this kind of thing than I am though, so I won’t judge.

GodsGirl Steam provided this DIY Easter set from what looks like her closet. It has a fun and cuddly almost Cosplay feel and the distorted fisheye effect really works with her big doe eyes. I like the look. Steam has some really sweet tattoos and piercings on her tasty tight little body and this series shows them all off well.

This Matthew Cooke Easter fantasy series of GodsGirl Veronica is in many ways my favorite of the bunch. The sheer volume of holiday treats and dream like over-styling give it a really unique look and it also gets very sexy along the way. I have never eaten jellybeans out of a girls ass before, but Veronica makes it look like an inviting idea. I’m glad the giant chocolate bunny didn’t melt while she was rubbing it in her crotch though, because that would look kind of gross. I love the bubbles and the bright colors and Veronica looks great.

Since we are catching up on a few things. Here are the latest Compete.com rankings for our continuing AltPorn A-List Traffic and Popularity Study. Compete.com reports on a monthly basis, with statistic totals showing from the previous month. This means these are December 2007 stats, not up to the minute, according to Compete.com. The only real news here is the impressive entry of newer sites like GeekGirlsOnline and PunkGrl, hitting the chart in solid positions. CrazyBabe swapped positions with BlueBlood’s GothicSluts, as also reported on the QuantCast stats from yesterday. Otherwise, several sites slipped a slot or two as new sites entered the rankings.
