StaggStreet: Oceans of White

There are rules in composition. One of them is: “always set your subject against a contrasting background”. Sometimes, though, rules are meant to be broken, and in this case Ellen Stagg does so masterfully, building a set of pictures of sexy doll Mosh and keeping all tones in shades of white.
Mosh itself looks like a petit porcelain doll, with perfect smooth skin and curves, pale with ashen hair – a marble idol in a sculpted room. Set against a white armchair and door, contrast is brought by black high heels and a red dress, as long as she wears it. Yet, a wise choice of lights and shadows shapes the image, welcoming the eye to explore the sexiness of this beautiful model, and giving hard rules a harder time.StaggStreet: Oceans of White

Mosh is like the most perfect living doll. I love that I have been able to work with her 3 times. Some of these images are in my book, Dirty Girl Collection, which you can buy signed on my Etsy.
